Concert ,  Show at Carcassonne

  • Nearly 15,000 concerts will be given for the 2020 world musical event: the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig Van Beethoven. Nathanaël Gouin will be one of the guest artists of the Folle Journée de Nantes this year dedicated to this world-renowned composer. He presents to us the works of the one who, from the youth to the maturity, always wrote pieces for the piano of which he was a remarkable interpreter. The 11 Bagatelles opus 119 are small light pieces that Beethoven liked to write, often for his students. More tormented is the slow movement of Sonata No. 12, Funeral March for the Death of the Hero. Edited in 1820, the sonata n ° 30 testifies to the great mastery of Beethoven; it leaves a strong impression. Faithful to the Thursdays of the Auditorium since 2013, Nathanaël Gouin continues a career as a soloist and chamber musician who brings him to the biggest stages. "Liszt Macabre", his last recording "makes us discover a musical personality that will have to be followed carefully" as Stéphane Friédérich wrote in Classica.
