The chapel of the little Saint-Gimer is an exhibition space that welcomes local artists. The City of Carcassonne presents its new exhibition: AND IF THE TREES COULD VOTE Two artists from Carcassonne, Joëlle Munck and Valérie Reneaud, have designed this exhibition for this chapel. Influenced by “Arte Povera”, the artists chose poor materials: cardboard, posters, newspapers, pastels, string, cotton. They present 12 paintings, a triptych and two installations. This device invites a face to face meeting between electoral posters revisited by artistic work and the reality of a changing world threatened by man. The artists offer an imaginary place, where politics would become a dance of life and link all living things together. "
