Theatre at Carcassonne

  • "A Bottle in the Sea" is a play adapted from Valérie Zenatti's novel "A Bottle in the Gaza Sea" by Camille Hazard. Take part in a contemporary theater evening where the actors will tell you about the correspondence between Tal and Naïm, an Israeli from Jerusalem and a young man from Gaza. They are two beings who exchange by their letters their misunderstandings, their similarities and their differences. They thus relate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with personal doubts, their concerns due to their situation but also a geopolitical reality. Through this fictionalized account, a strong and poignant testimony stands out. A message of hope and tolerance, a desire for peace and fraternity.
