IN|OFF Carcassonne Festival

Following government measures responding to the Coronavirus epidemic, the first performances of the 2020 IN/OFF Carcassonne Festival are canceled until July 14th. Pending government directives to come concerning the second part of July and the measures that will be taken for the events in terms of public reception, security and maximum capacity in terms of authorized spectators, keep in mind that the teams of the Festival and of the City of Carcassonne are more than ever mobilized to continue working on this 2020 edition, hoping that all the conditions are met for the Festival to be able to maintain part of its programming.

A MUST Festival

Ranked among the TOP 10 of the biggest French festivals with each year, its 120 shows and concerts including 80 free on 12 stages, the Carcassonne Festival attracts nearly 200,000 spectators. Unmissable meeting place for lovers of music, dance, circus, theater, this is the event not to be missed under any pretext in Carcassonne in July! Every year, there is something for everyone, and paying or not, quality is no exception to the rule. The Carcassonne festival offers an eclectic program that will delight all lovers of entertainment and culture.

2020 Edition: it promises!

The festival will once again display around a hundred shows in 2020 in one month. An event that continues to evolve, particularly in terms of its programming which will again be ambitious in July! Each summer, the Carcassonne Vosu Festival welcomes in an exceptional place and setting, classified as World Heritage by Unesco: The medieval city and its ancient theater where each evening, some 3000 privileged people experience real moments of emotion and sharing.

2020 programming & ticketing

With an IN festival which takes place mainly in the theater of the Medieval City of Carcassonne as well as an OFF festival (free) which takes place in Bastide, every day you can participate in concerts in intimate places where the artist is closer to its audience.
