Discovery of the Catalan coast and the villages of Roussillon in a special historical train from the last century! Course of the day: It is after having crossed the plains of Lauragais and Corbières that you will find the edge of the Mediterranean. You will go to the far south of France, in French Catalonia, on the rocky coast of the Côte Vermeille, a jagged coast that is home to many beaches and coves as well as the charming villages of Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure, Port -Vendres, Banyuls-sur-Mer and Cerbère. If you choose the boat trip option, you will have to go down to Collioure where you can stroll at your leisure in the alleys of this wonderful village which benefits from an authentic setting and a protected environment. This small Catalan port is nestled in the shelter of a cove where the waters of the Mediterranean and the rocks of the Pyrenees mountain range come together. An exceptional climate and sunshine guaranteed by the Tramontane make Collioure a unique site where Catalan well-being and good living take their source. Several sandy or pebble beaches will allow you to enjoy swimming. In other cases, you can get off freely at the station of your choice and explore the coast at your leisure. To take the train back to one of the stations served, you will need to refer to the timetables displayed in the cars. Timetables and prices: Departure from Carcassonne station at 9.40 am Return to Carcassonne station at 10.00 pm Prices: adult: € 40 | child (6 to 12 years old): 28 € (free up to 4 years old)
