Machine Théâtre collective From 14 years old Duration: 1 hour Known and recognized by their peers a few years ago, it is in a cramped, modest apartment that the curtain opens on Victor and Louis, two brothers, two actors… They are adrift, stuck in an existential void, forgotten in theaters, overwhelmed by the new generation. A verbal contest begins between these two beings that everything opposes, two different visions of what is, and must be, the art of the actor. But when this duo is forced to accept an astonishing artistic mission, everything changes. And the presence of the Minister of Culture will not help matters… Jean Marie-Piemme plays on genres. His constant humor, his tenderness and his poetry offer total freedom to the actor and to the pleasure of the spectator. However, it is not a question here of speaking only of theater, it is a question of passion, of vocation, of attachment to one's profession whatever it is, of the importance that one attaches to it, love between two brothers in loss of meaning who tear each other apart to better find themselves in the center of the stage, and to be able to shout to whoever wants to hear it ... "We are actors"! Directed by Nicolas Oton With the actors of the Machine theater collective Brice Carayol and Laurent Dupuy Lighting Mathieu Zabé Scenography Pierre Heydorff Sound Alex Flory Costumes Cathy Sardi Régie Cyril Amiot
