Concert at Carcassonne
From :  10 Full-fare

In the history of music, there is no lack of examples of families of musicians. The family crucible has often allowed the continuity of the love of music in emulation and sharing. François Laurent, principal flute of the Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse since 1982, is the founding father of the Trio, which he forms with his two daughters. Élodie is currently a violist with the Orchester National de France and Mélanie has just been awarded the prestigious First Prize of the USA International Harp Competition. Getting together around Claude Debussy's famous Sonata is a lifelong project that materializes with the birth of the Heritage Trio. This flagship work is the most emblematic of the repertoire for flute, viola and harp, thanks to its richness of colors, as well as its mild and mysterious climate. Didier Benetti paid tribute to him by creating Reflets in 2019, for the same training. The Élégiaque Trio by English composer Arnold Bax brings a bucolic charm to the program. Finally, it is important to the Heritage Trio to revisit great monuments of French music. The transcriptions Pelléas et Mélisande by Gabriel Fauré and the Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns thus complete this elegant program.
